The flamboyant center-back, who had illustrious stints with SC Villa and the Uganda U-23 team The Kobs—which reached the semifinals of the 1999 All Africa Games in South Africa—expressed his delight at reconnecting with the Ugandan football fraternity. "I am thrilled to be back at the home of football. I have noticed significant changes, and I’m impressed with what I’ve seen today. It’s great for the game. There is clearly a lot of activity and progress happening in Ugandan football," he said.
