The Queen Cranes will take on the Young Copper Queens in the third-round first leg of the CAF Women’s U20 qualifiers on Saturday, February 7, at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba. The technical change comes as the hosting venue, Kadiba, has a natural grass playing field, while Njeru, where the team has been camping for the last nine days, has an artificial turf.

The local football governing body, FUFA, has already announced free entrance to the game to encourage Ugandan fans to turn up in large numbers and support the team.

The Zambia national U20 team is expected in the country on Wednesday ahead of the contest, whose winner over the two legs will qualify for the fourth and final round before the four teams to make the trip to Poland are named.

Uganda will host the first leg on Saturday and thereafter travel for the second leg scheduled for February 14, 2026, in Lusaka, Zambia.
