Sheema - Ven. Rev. Moses Turyaguma, the Archdeacon of Masheruka Archdeaconry in West Ankole Diocese, has died. Ven. Rev. Joseph Mweyungye, the Secretary of West Ankole Anglican Diocese, says that Moses breathed his last at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Bushenyi Medical Centre (BMC) in Sheema District.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ven. Rev. Moses Turyaguma, Archdeacon of Masheruka Archdeaconry, who departed this life on 24.12.2024 at 12:00 a.m. at BMC Kabwohe."
Reverend Moses, 53, was rushed to the hospital on Monday at around 8:00 p.m. after suffering a cardiac arrest.
He served as the Archdeacon of Mitooma Archdeaconry and Kabwohe Archdeaconry before he was transferred to Masheruka in 2022.
