The local football governing body, FUFA, has extended support to regional league clubs across all eight regions of the country by providing football equipment, specifically Zakayo balls.
The eight regions—Buganda, Kampala, Eastern, Northern, West Nile, Western, Kitara, and North Eastern—have a combined total of 109 clubs registered for this year’s regional league. Each of these clubs received five balls, making a total of 545 Zakayo balls distributed.

This initiative, approved by the FUFA Executive Committee, brings the total number of supported clubs across the three tiers to 141.
