The roar of the crowd has returned to the Bushenyi Main Stadium as the highly anticipated Hays Recruitment Experts Christmas Football Tournament officially kicks off. This year’s tournament has brought together the finest athletic talent from across the districts of Bushenyi, Mitooma, Buhweju, Rubirizi, and Sheema in a high-stakes display of skill and community spirit.
The competition is fierce, with teams vying for a massive prize pool. The overall winners are set to walk away with a grand prize of a bull, supplemented by additional prizes and cash awards totaling 5 million Shillings.
"Christmas is a time for celebration and unity,” a spokesperson for Hays Recruitment Experts noted during the opening ceremony. “By bringing these districts together on the football pitch, we are not just playing a game; we are fostering the bonds that make Greater Bushenyi strong. We wanted to give back to the community in a way that everyone could feel and enjoy.”

This tournament is a cornerstone of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. For Hays, the festive season provides a perfect opportunity to show appreciation to the local families and youth who form the heart of their mission.
“Our success as a company is built on the people of this region,” the representative added. “It is an honor to return that support by investing in local talent and providing a platform for our youth to shine.”
Beyond the stadium gates, Hays Recruitment Experts continues to be a bridge to global opportunity. Known for their excellence in international placement, the company specializes in recruiting young men and women for transformative careers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other foreign markets.
Currently, Hays is offering a diverse range of job opportunities, including Security roles (male and female) in Abu Dhabi, as well as positions for taxi drivers, waiters, cleaners, and general helpers. As the final whistle approaches for the tournament, Hays remains committed to its dual goal: celebrating local community today while building international careers for tomorrow.
