According to officials, the collaboration falls under the broader framework of football diplomacy, aligning with the United States’ 250th Independence celebrations set for July 4, 2026.
The partnership aims to strengthen Uganda–U.S. strategic relations, promote mutual development, and create opportunities for technical capacity-building, cultural exchange, and long-term football development.
