KAMPALA

Nyanzi Martin Luther is 16 years old. Born on December 5, 2009, at Nsangi Hospital, he grew up in the Kampala area and now attends Kisozi High School in Buddo, Wakiso District.

During the COVID-19 school closures, he started deejaying at local events — a hobby that quickly grew into something bigger. That experience led him to launch Block FM, an online radio station. In 2023, at just 14 years old, he founded Apex Media Services, a company that handles advertising, production, broadcasting, and digital content. Through Block FM, the company reaches a growing audience of young listeners with a mix of music and talk shows.

In 2025, Nyanzi launched the Apex Digital Skills Initiative, a program that teaches young people and school learners basic computer skills, graphic design, social media, coding, website development, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. His goal is to help bridge the digital skills gap and empower more Ugandan youth to create their own opportunities.

Nyanzi runs his media work while still attending school, balancing his studies with a growing enterprise. His focus remains on practical, community-based action.

This is his story so far — starting small and building something useful for others in Kampala and Wakiso.
