The High Court in Kampala has allowed the prosecutors to amend the charges against Molly Katanga's co-accused. The accused, who include Katanga's daughters Martha Nkwanzi and Patricia Kankwanzi, will now face an additional charge of being an accessory after the fact of murder, in addition to the initial charge of destroying valuable evidence used in the murder of their father. Likewise, Shamba Boy George Amanyire and Nursing Officer Charles Otai, who were initially facing charges of being accessories after the fact of murder, will also face charges of destroying valuable evidence.
Molly Katanga is accused causing the death of her husband Henry Katanga by shooting him using a pistol, on November 2, 2023, which she denies.
