The team is scheduled to hold a recovery training session today at the Kinondoni Municipal Council Complex (KMC) in preparation for their opening match. Head coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda made two changes to the initial squad, calling up experienced goalkeeper Ruth Aturo in place of Nulu Nakyaze Babirye, and defender Asiimwe Zida in place of Resty Kobusobozi.

Ruth Aturo, a long-serving Crested Cranes goalkeeper and team captain, currently plays for Tanzanian second-tier side Tausi Women FC. Zida, captain of Boni Consilii Girls FC from Isingiro, has been instrumental in her team’s recent success, leading them to a bronze medal at the USSSA National Girls Football Championship last month in Bukedea.
