The basketball girls final will be a Uganda affair with St Noa and Kitende meeting in today's finale after Kitende eliminated Rwanda's ESB Kamonyi 69-64 with St Noa eliminating Kenya's Butere Girls 62-53 following questionable officiating and hostile Kenya supporters on Ugandans. In fact, the Kenya hostility forced an abandonment of the basketball 3x3 semifinal between Buddo SS Girls and Kaya Tiwi of Kenya.
In handball, Uganda's Bombo Army lost 33-27 to Kenya's Kimiliri in the semifinals but Mbogo High Girls will tomorrow play against Kenya's Moi Girls Kamusinga in the final.
