Brig Gen Chris Bagonza, Deputy Joint Staff for Human Resource Management, commended the retirees for their dedicated service to the nation. He encouraged them to see retirement as an opportunity to continue contributing to society beyond active duty. He also acknowledged the crucial support provided by their spouses, which had been instrumental in the smooth performance of their duties.
During his address, Brig Gen Bagonza urged the retirees to prioritise their health and avoid reckless behaviors, particularly warning against the dangers of alcoholism.
