The Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 draw was conducted on Wednesday morning at FUFA House in Mengo, setting up several tricky fixtures expected to spice up the competition.
One of the headline pairings from the draw, conducted by former Uganda Cranes and SC Villa defender Phillip Obwiny, will see nine-time winners SC Villa host BUL FC.

Ten-time champions KCCA FC have been drawn at home against Mbarara City, while another ten-time winner, Express FC, will travel to face Big League side Ntungasaze. Defending champions Vipers SC have been handed a favourable home tie against regional league side Pajule Lions FC. Several lower-division sides remain in the competition after eliminating top-flight teams in the Round of 64.
Bushenyi-based Six O’Clock FC, who knocked out Mbale Heroes, have been rewarded with another home fixture against fellow Mbale side Kataka FC. Bunyaruguru United will also play at home against school side Amus College FC at the Nyakasaru playgrounds.
However, the Rubirizi-based side faces internal challenges following the alleged abscondment of four players — Neymar Ashiraf, John Nduga, Godfrey Kasingo and Sunday Geoffrey.
They will need to resolve the situation quickly as they aim to reach the Round of 16 for the first time.
