The national U20 women’s team, the Queen Cranes, will this evening take on Namibia in the second leg of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, in Kampala.

The young Cranes will now focus on sharpening their scoring ability, which will be a key requirement as they prepare to face stronger opponents in the next stage of qualification.
This is the second time Namibia has played its home-and-away qualification matches in Uganda, as the country has no CAF-approved stadium in Windhoek.

Earlier this year, Uganda eliminated Namibia from the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, defeating them 18-1 on aggregate in a double encounter at Nakivubo Stadium.
The winner between Uganda and Namibia on aggregate will face either Burundi or Zambia in the final qualification round in February next year, which will determine the last African slot for the 2026 World Cup in Poland.
