Dire Dawa, Ethiopia
The Uganda U17 men's football team coach, Layrea Kingston, has said his side will go full strength against Djibouti tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26, in their last Group B match of the ongoing TotalEnergies Men's U17 CECAFA Region Qualifiers in Ethiopia. Uganda Cubs take on a Djibouti side that has lost all their last 3 matches — 1-0 against Burundi, 11-0 against Tanzania, and 3-1 against Sudan — but Kingston says they are not underrating any team.

In the wake of meeting a team that is rooted at the bottom of the table with no point and only a single goal against 15 conceded, when asked about whether there are expectations of a new-look starting line-up, Kingston was quick to respond that different teams offer different challenges and that they are not ready to take chances since they cannot know what Djibouti is preparing to offer on the day.
Defending champions Uganda just need a point from tomorrow's game to make it through to the semifinals alongside already qualified Tanzania, but Kingston says the semifinal talk is later when they reach there.

The team’s attacking midfielder, Brain Olwa, sounded in a confident mood ahead of the game and the semifinals, saying they are ready for any challenge in their pursuit of the title defence.
Having won all their 4 games, Tanzania leads Group B with maximum points and will be playing the runner-up in Group A, which has Kenya and Ethiopia battling for the top position, while Uganda comes in second to meet the winners of Group A. All semifinals will be played in Addis Ababa.
The Uganda contingent will, after tomorrow's game, relocate back to Addis ahead of the semifinals at Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis.
