Mukono
The 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I hosts, Seroma Christian High School, not only presented magnificent hosting facilities but also staged a strong challenge for titles against other top teams. By the close of the nine-day championship, the Mukono-based outfit had collected more medals than any other participating school.

Seroma won silver in boys lawn tennis
A total of 11 disciplines for both boys and girls were competed in, with only the U17 netball category featuring a single-sex discipline. Of these, the hosts collected seven medals, including one gold, three silver, and three bronze medals, while Kibuli Secondary School topped the standings with five gold medals.
Seroma's gold medal came in the U17 girls' basketball 3x3 category, where they defeated favorites St Mary's Boarding Secondary School Kitende, with Grace Arek emerging as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The school also secured silver medals in boys' U17 basketball 3x3, table tennis, and lawn tennis, while bronze medals came in boys' U17 volleyball and both boys' and girls' badminton.

"We are delighted to have competed against the top teams successfully, and we thank the administration for the support extended to all the teams. We are now going to prepare adequately and ensure that we perform even better at the FEASSA Games in Tanzania this August," said Abu Senyu, the games teacher.
Out of the seven medal positions, six are automatic qualification slots for the upcoming FEASSA Games in Morogoro, Tanzania. This means that even before Ball Games II and the national boys' football championship, the school has already qualified six teams for the regional games.
