The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has confirmed the list of schools that will represent Uganda at the 23rd Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games, scheduled to take place in Morogoro, Tanzania, from August 12 to 23, 2026.
The confirmation follows the resolution of the dispute that led to the cancellation of the girls' volleyball final during the USSSA Ball Games II Championships held in Gulu last week.
The final was not played after St Elizabeth Girls Secondary School, Mbarara, forfeited the match against Bukedea Comprehensive School, alleging that their opponents had fielded an ineligible player.
A similar protest had earlier occurred in the semi-finals, where Amus College School also declined to play Bukedea over the same allegations.
As a result, the girls' volleyball trophy was not presented during the closing ceremony held at Sacred Heart Secondary School in Gulu.

Following a thorough investigation by USSSA and the Ministry of Education and Sports, Bukedea Comprehensive School was officially declared the girls' volleyball champion and presented with the trophy at the USSSA offices in Kampala on Wednesday.
Seroma Christian High School was named the runners-up, while Katikamu SDA School, which exited at the quarter-final stage, was awarded the bronze medal. St Elizabeth Girls Secondary School and Amus College School were left unranked following the disciplinary decision.
Boni Consilii settled for their first ever silver in the nactional champiinship
USSSA has since released the list of schools that will represent Uganda at the regional championships, where they will compete against teams from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan.
Uganda heads into the competition as the defending overall champions, having won the FEASSA title for the fifth time during last year's games in Kakamega, Kenya.

The confirmed representatives will compete across various disciplines, including football, basketball, volleyball, rugby, netball, hockey, handball, athletics, cricket, baseball, softball, chess, scrabble, badminton, table tennis, beach volleyball, beach soccer, lacrosse, and lawn tennis, among others.
The Morogoro games are expected to attract the region's top secondary school athletes as Uganda seeks to retain its East African schools sports crown.
