Uganda Cubs head coach Brian Ssenyondo has named a final 21-man squad for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, scheduled for November 3-27. The final selection was made after a 10-day training camp in Dubai, where the team played three international friendlies against other World Cup-bound sides: Venezuela, Panama, and Paraguay. In these matches, Uganda registered a 1-1 draw against Venezuela before losing 2-1 to Panama and 3-2 to Paraguay.

In the final squad, Masaka Sunshine leads with four players, KCCA FC has three, while school side Bukedea Comprehensive School and Vipers SC each have two. Drawn in Group E alongside Canada, Chile, and France, the Cubs will make history as the first Ugandan side ever to play in a FIFA World Cup. Uganda will open its campaign against Canada on November 5, 2025, before taking on Chile on November 8 and concluding its group stage against France on November 11.
