Wakiso
Police in Wakiso District are investigating the mysterious disappearance of two young pupils from Uganda Martyrs Junior School, Kikokiro. The missing children have been identified as: Ainembabazi Irene (Female, 9 years old) Nuwabasa Elisa (Male, 5 years old)
According to police reports, the two were last seen on February 21, 2025, within the school premises along Kassegejje Road, Wakiso. Preliminary findings suggest that they may have headed towards Nansana, but their whereabouts remain unknown. Wakiso Police, in collaboration with the school administration and the children's families, has launched an intensive search operation to locate them.
Public appeal for information
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to immediately report to the nearest police station or contact +256 772 646348.
"We request the public’s cooperation in finding these missing children. Any detail, no matter how small, could be crucial in ensuring their safe return," said Deputy Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire.
Investigations are ongoing, and the police have assured the public that all necessary efforts are being made to reunite the children with their families.
