A 52-year-old woman, Efrance Kobusingye from Nyaruhanda in Kitagwenda District, has given birth to quintuplets—three girls and two boys. Kobusingye, who is married to 62-year-old retired teacher Tunanukye Clesensio, delivered the babies via Cesarean section at Neo Care Clinic in Mbarara City, seven months into her pregnancy.

The newborns were referred to Holy Innocents Hospital's intensive care unit for further treatment.
Kobusingye expressed both excitement and surprise after delivering five children, having waited over 32 years to conceive.
She shared that she had undergone numerous checkups and visited many hospitals but never received a clear diagnosis regarding the challenges she faced.
She also mentioned that she is currently in a difficult financial situation, having spent a significant amount of money trying to conceive.

Tunanukye Clesensio, her husband, said he married Kobusingye when she was 19 years old and has waited 32 years to have children, noting that the quintuplets bring immense joy to their long marriage.
