AIGP Tom Magambo Rwabudongo delivers a lecture to the teachers

Mbarara – The Director of Criminal Investigations, AIGP Tom Magambo Rwabudongo, this morning delivered a lecture of opportunity to 1,114 secondary school teachers from Western Uganda currently undergoing a patriotism training course at Ntare School in Mbarara.

In his presentation, AIGP Magambo highlighted Uganda’s historical development path, outlining the country’s strategic priorities and the critical role of teachers in shaping national consciousness. He emphasized the historical mission of strengthening patriotism, promoting Pan-Africanism, and advancing strategic security as foundations for socio-economic transformation and national prosperity.

The training, which brings together educators from across the western region, is part of a wider government initiative to instill values of unity, responsibility, and nation-building among key sectors of society.

Magambo urged the teachers to embrace their central role in inspiring patriotism among students, noting that the classroom remains one of the most influential platforms for nurturing a generation that can sustain Uganda’s development agenda.
