The three day course that was organized by FUFA’s Western Region Football Association (WRFA) and conducted by FUFA instructor Deo Mutabazi, saw 40 people including 4 females attend and successfully complete it.

While officially closing the training, regional FA chairman Sseka Mutaka hailed the officials for turning up to learn the realities in the football management of their clubs.

“I want to thank FUFA for establishing this course and want to thank you participants especially the club officials who are dominating in numbers, for turning up to learn the very club management skills you have been missing. I am sure the football management in our area will get a facelift after here,” Mutaka said.

Regional football side Kihihi Young Boys proprietor Obed Nsaba conceded having been not so much versed with the modern football management knowledge that he acquired in 3 days.

“I have been green about some of the knowledge about modern football administration but I have duly been enlightened and I am sure I was not alone, but all of us and with this, the football administration in our area will improve,” Nsaba said.

FUFA introduced this Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO) Level I way back in 2015 and recently introduced level II which is in line with the federation's vision of becoming the number one football nation in Africa on and off the field.

The attendants in Mbarara were awarded with certificates and it will be up to the individuals to enroll for level II.
